  • 1 onion roughly chopped
  • 1 spring onion cut into small pieces
  • 1 celery stalk cut into small pieces
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

How to make red bean soup

Once you have provided all the ingredients above, you can immediately practice the red bean soup recipe by making it as follows.

  • Drain the soaked red beans first. After that, prepare a medium sized pan and pour in the prepared water. Just boil water on a medium stove, then put all the red beans into the pan.
  • Boil and cook for about 60 minutes until the water has drained and the red beans are soft. Turn off the stove and drain the red beans. Set aside while waiting so it doesn’t get too hot.
  • After that, prepare a blender and put all the boiled red beans into it. Then, just blend roughly so you can still feel the texture of the nuts. You can also smooth it manually by pounding it with a hammer.
  • Next, pour the red beans into another pan, then also pour the beef stock into it. Just cook on a small stove fire. Stir evenly.
  • Add onions, leeks and celery leaves. Just stir slowly. Don’t forget to season with salt, ground pepper and ground nutmeg. Stir again until all ingredients are mixed.
  • Please taste a little of the soup to correct the taste. If it still doesn’t taste good, you can add enough salt or stock powder, then stir briefly. After that, turn off the stove and the red bean soup is ready to be served.
  • Prepare a medium sized bowl, then pour the cooked red bean soup. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top. You can taste and eat it after the time to break the fast arrives.
