- 5 – 7 medium sized fresh giant prawns
- 1 lime
- 2 red tomatoes each cut into 4 parts
- 500 ml shrimp stock
- 750 ml water for boiling shrimp heads and shells

- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 cm ginger
- 2 cm turmeric
- 4 roasted candlenuts

- 1 stalk of lemongrass crushed
- 2 cm of galangal crushed
- 2 pieces of kandis acid
- 10 green cayenne peppers

How to cook prawn curry

- First clean all the prawns that have been provided under running water. Remove and set aside the head and shell, but do not throw them away.
- After that, put the prawns in a bowl, then add lime juice. Stir briefly and let sit for about 10 minutes to get rid of the fishy smell. After 10 minutes, rinse all the shrimp with clean water. Set it aside for now.
- Meanwhile, boil the head and shell in the prepared water. Boil until it boils and makes broth, then strain the water to use as a cooking ingredient.
