Honey Paper Chicken Recipe

Let’s make honey paper chicken for lunch. This menu is our family’s favorite menu. The taste is super yummy and the time used to prepare this dish is very short.

Black pepper sauce combined with the sweetness of honey heemm really appetizing. Here are the ingredients and how to make it, you must try it at home!

Ingredient :

  1. 350 gr chicken fillet (cut lengthwise)
  2. 1/2 bell pepper, sliced lengthwise (can use red, yellow or green peppers)
  3. 1/2 onion
  4. 1 stalk of green onion
  5. 1 tbsp soy sauce
  6. 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  7. 5 tbsp honey
  8. 1/4 tbsp broth powder
  9. 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch (dissolved with water first)
  10. 4 tbsp margarine (for sauteing)
  11. 1/2 ripe pineapple (optional)

Chicken marinade ingredients:

  1. 1 tbsp soy sauce
  2. 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  3. 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  4. 2 tsp ground black pepper
  5. 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  6. 4 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  7. 1 tbsp cornstarch

How to make :

  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Enter the chicken that has been cut into pieces according to taste into the marinade ingredients and store in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight so that the spices seep into the chicken more.
  2. Heat the margarine, then stir-fry the marinated chicken until it changes color.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, honey and mushroom broth, stir until all the spices are well blended and the flavors are absorbed. Correct the taste, if something is missing, please add other spices according to taste.
  4. Add the peppers and onions, stir briefly until the onions and peppers are slightly wilted. Next, add the diced pineapple.
  5. Lastly, pour the cornstarch solution so that the sauce thickens, after boiling, turn off the heat.
  6. Transfer the food to a serving plate and sprinkle with the spring onions. Serve while warm.
