- 1 cup rolled oats

- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions
- Boil Liquid: In a medium saucepan, bring the water or milk to a boil.
- Add Oats: Stir in the rolled oats and a pinch of salt.
- Simmer: Reduce heat and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
